Prince returns to Nigeria

Brother Prince has return to Nigeria. Coach David had the privilege to escort Prince to the airport where they met with officials of the Nigerian Embassy. After some "juggling" with suit cases and paperwork Prince boarded the plane. Prince called me the following day and said he made it safely home and was with his family. We are very proud of brother Prince and we know God has great things in store for him.

Please PRAY for Christopher

Christopher came to Morocco seeking entrance into Europe to escape the poverty in Africa. Soon after arriving in Morocco he paid a smuggler to take him by boat to the Canary Islands. The smuggler was greedy and overloaded the boat. The weather was rough and the boat capsized near the shore. Christopher said he went under the sea and lost his orientation. He had no idea which way was up. Under the sea he prayed and said “Jesus please save me”. The waves picked him out of the sea and violently threw him upon the rocks. His arm was broken is several places and he was unconscious. He was rescued and taken to Morocco. There were 17 people with Christopher in that little boat. All but Christopher perished in the sea that day. Christopher’s arm healed nicely and he came to CIPC and gave his life to the Lord. He has served on the CIPC worship team for more than a year now. Christopher came to realize his life was not in Europe; his life is in the Lord. Yesterday (January 6, 2008) Christopher began a long journey across the Sahara Desert to return to his home nation of Nigeria. Please pray for Christopher over the next few weeks as he makes this arduous journey.

Please PRAY for Anissa

Anissa has Lyme Disease which she contracted by being bitten by a tick. Anissa is in the USA now and has been taking medications. Currently she is off medication and feeling OK. Next week (January 7, 2008) she will start medications again. As Anissa begins this next series of medications I wanted to ask everyone at CIPC to be in prayer for her. God has better things planned for her life. Pray for her complete healing and recovery. Pray that these drug do not produce potential side effects. And please pray for the Lord to comfort her and speak to her during this difficult time.

Please PRAY for Ozo & Cynthia

Ozo and Cynthia have been in Morocco for a long time. They were married in Nigeria and came to Morocco hoping to transit into Europe to find a better life. In Morocco they realized this dream of Europe is not much of a dream at all. When Cynthia became pregnant they decided to return home to their nation and begin a life for their family there. They left Casablanca tonight (Dec 30, 2007) and will be traveling for many days. Please be praying for Ozo and Cynthia over the next few weeks. Cynthia is pregnant and this is a very difficult journey on land across the Sahara desert. THEY MADE IT! January 15, 2008 ! ! !

Henry Finds His Reward

This past week Henry died suddenly. We have no idea of the cause. When he fell sick he went to several hospitals and was rejected. Unfortunately we did not find out until he had died. Henry came to Jesus at CIPC and was baptized here. Recently Henry sensed a call to be a pastor and was faithfully studying the Word in our Bible School. Please pray for Henry’s family.

Gaetan Receives Visa to Canada

Gaetan has served as our worship leader at CIPC for about 2 years. It has been amazing to see a guy who had never led worship allow God to use him in a new way. During those 2 years we have really seen Gaetan grow in the Lord and the anointing. Gaetan has been seeking a visa to go to Canada for more than a year. Gaetan plans to spend 2 years there to complete his degree. Please pray for Gaetan that he adjusts well in Canada, does well in school, and finds a good church where he can continue to grow in the Lord.
